We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, who we share it with, and your rights as a Data Principal regarding your digital personal data.
By submitting a form on our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.
2. Data Collection & Purpose
We collect the following information only when you explicitly consent via our forms:
- Name, Company, and Phone Number — used to respond to your manufacturing and export inquiries.
- Email Address — used for direct communication regarding your inquiries and to send our newsletter (if opted in).
- Inquiry Details — used solely to understand your fabric requirements and prepare quotations or samples.
We do not use your data for hidden tracking, behavioral profiling, or unsolicited third-party marketing.
Cookies & Website Technologies
Our website loads fonts via Google Fonts and may use minimal functional cookies necessary for the site to operate correctly. We do not deploy advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required by law, your consent will be sought.
3. Children's Data
FabFashion provides B2B textile manufacturing services and does not intend to serve individuals under 18 years of age. Our inquiry forms include a self-declaration age confirmation step before submission. If we discover that personal data of a minor has been collected, it will be deleted immediately upon discovery, and we will take reasonable steps to cease further processing.
4. Data Processors & Cross-Border Transfer
We share data strictly on a need-to-know basis with authorized Data Processors to operate our website. Enquiry and subscriber records are stored in a Supabase-managed database accessible only to authorized FabFashion staff through a password-protected admin panel. We also use FormSubmit, a third-party form processing service, to send a copy of your inquiry as an email notification to our sales inbox.
FormSubmit's infrastructure may process and transmit data through servers located outside India. Where your personal data is transferred outside India for this purpose, we ensure it is handled under contractual safeguards consistent with the DPDP Act, 2023, and only for the limited purpose of delivering your inquiry to us.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention & Erasure
When you submit a form, your information is saved to our Supabase database and a copy is emailed to us via FormSubmit. Certain non-sensitive preference data (such as cookie consent status) may also be stored locally in your browser to remember your choices on return visits — this local data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
We retain inquiry records in our database for as long as needed to respond to and service your enquiry, or for as long as we have an active business relationship with you. We do not currently operate an automated deletion schedule; records are removed manually once no longer needed, or immediately upon a valid erasure request to our Grievance Officer (Section 7).
6. Your Data Rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:
- Right to Information — You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed.
- Right to Correction & Erasure — You may request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data, or the deletion of your data entirely, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Right to Withdraw Consent — Where you have given consent (e.g. for our newsletter), you may withdraw it at any time, as easily as it was given, by emailing us at the address below.
- Right to Nominate — You may nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Right to Grievance Redressal — You have the right to file a complaint regarding the processing of your data, as outlined in Section 7 below.

7. Grievance Officer
In compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address any concerns regarding your personal data. We commit to acknowledging all grievances within 24 hours and resolving them within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by our Grievance Officer, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India, as established under the DPDP Act, 2023.
8. Data Breach Response
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting your information, we will take reasonable steps to contain and assess the breach, and will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under the DPDP Act, 2023, including the nature of the data affected, likely consequences, and remediation steps taken.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
